About Us

About the National Carnival Guild

The National Carnival Guild is the National Federation of Carnival Associations and Committees. Member organisations being primarily active in organising carnival processions and parades, and events for the purpose of raising funds for charitable or community activities.

The primary purpose of the guild is the promotion of carnival and co-operation between carnival committees; other aims are the establishment of standards of entertainment and behaviour to preserve the dignity of carnival; to encourage the co-operation and interchange of friendship between member associations and parallel organisations world-wide; and liaison with individuals and organisations outside carnival for the benefit of carnival.
